An employment record book (ERB) is a document that contains its owner’s official employment history, including places of employment, positions, and periods of work. Therefore, foreign job seekers, applicants for business visas, and those applying for pension need to have their employment record books translated.
It’s a common knowledge that original ERBs are filled in by hand and bear multiple seals and stamps. So, each translator should be particularly careful and attentive when working with ERB records.
Thus, if our customer needs to have their employment record book translated, for example, into Russian, the resulting translation will include:
- Records made by all employers;
- Texts of all seals and stamps; and
- Expanded definitions of all abbreviations and acronyms used.
Note that there are some categories of documents that are subject to notarization. They include, among others, employment record books. But don’t worry; Edelweiss provides notarial translation services, too! Documents prepared by our linguists are certified by a notary public for them to be effective in Russia.
Notarization proves the document’s official status. So, you can feel free to provide your ERB translated by our Agency, for example, from English into Russian directly to your employer.
Edelweiss will help you get a prestigious job!
